#Nikolay_ comes_to_everyone_2019 - we have seen this once again when we organize a holiday of dreams for children from needy families in crisis! Flip through the photos, look for your gifts, look at the children you helped believe in a miracle!
???
Almost all families were present at the holiday, except for those with sick children. They received gifts in the warehouse.
Why not orphans from orphanages, you ask?
At the end of the post there will be a link to our site, which explains in detail why and why these children need other non-financial assistance!
We will remind that in Ukraine only 8% of children in boarding schools are orphans, others 92% have parents!
ℹ️Our goal is to support families on the brink of crisis and keep children in families.
Many of these socially vulnerable families do not survive, mostly financially simply "do not collect" and send their children to boarding schools, where they are fed, trained and clothed by the state, but… this care does not raise socially mature individuals, breaks the fate of many children! As a result, the child loses his individuality, he forms a consumer position, the only values for him are material goods.
Statistics show that 20% boarding school graduates have a criminal record,
14% engaged in prostitution,
10% commits suicide within two years of its release, and only 10% is fully integrated into society.
Together with you, we can only prevent children from entering boarding schools by uniting! Crisis families need to be supported, because children are not to blame!
? And we are grateful to everyone and everyone who joined the organization of St. Nicholas Day for 149 children from crisis families!
We truly thank every assistant of Nicholas, who prepared a gift for the child! Maryana Chenka (organized a collection of 53 gifts by letters from her acquaintances) and Liliya Galan (organized a collection of 23 gifts by letters from her acquaintances), as well as Svitlana Lokotkova and her Sontseleva - volunteer children in schools and kindergartens in Lviv, organized collection of tangerines in ZDO № 160 and Shine 67 school, and parents and students of 2-B class School №32 prepared sweet gifts for children.
?Our constant sweet benefactor of TM Good evening and @Milana treated us to delicious cookies that children could have a snack on the holiday!
?Tupychak Ljubov helped us to organize a real holiday fairy tale with Mykola, and Galya Dumanska kept a very clear and diligent record of the letters and their performers. We truly thank the management of Lviv Polygraphic College UAD, which kindly provided premises for the holiday, and college students who prepared a wonderful photo area, an interesting show (children were delighted), beautiful photos and video reports of the holiday!
This once again confirms that with a little effort we can create incredible great good things!
Here is a very detailed description of why you should not donate to orphanages on holidays!
